If you were on the internet ten years ago, then you’d know Vine was one of the most viral app to hit the social media world. Vine home timeline consisted of users who produced videos in six second loops. Introducing us to many huge influencers we know today such as King Bach, Liza Koshy and Rickey Thompson. Their creativity kicked in full throttle with the different ways you can make a six second long video stretch. Some created mini series, POVs and skits to entertain their audience.
In 2017, Vine decided to end its platform after five short-lived years. Some time in the future that may change for a comeback as Elon Musk places his bid for its return to the social media world. He announced on X, he’d be bringing back the app but with an upgrade. “We’re bringing back Vine, but in AI form”, Musk stated.

Back in 2022, Elon hinted at the apps return by mentioning, “bring back Vine?” on X, rallying up the long time supporters. There’s no further information as of now when this will take place but people are becoming excited to see their favorite app hit the internet once again.
